Sore:

Gunnar Hossy was a Danish sculptor and graphic artist. Hossy was educated at, among other things, Academy of Fine Arts 1947-1952. He was a member of The comrades from 1965. In the 1950s, Gunnar Hossy worked mainly with graphics.

Sculpture only really came into being in the 1960s, especially in bronze and iron; a number of scrap sculptures date from recent years. Hossy was a socially committed artist who often identified with the weak and outcasts of society in his art.

Gunnar Hossy illustrated, among other things: Albert Camus ' The plague (1976). From 1972 he taught at The School of Applied Arts .
