P. Ipsen Enke's Royal Court Terracotta Factory was a Danish ceramics company in Copenhagen.
The factory was founded in 1843 by former porcelain turner at the Royal Porcelain Factory Peter Ipsen (1815-1860), who in 1847 built a factory in Utterslev, Copenhagen, where the factory is still located. A few years later he opened a sale of terracotta and stoneware.
Peter Ipsen who was later joined by his son Bertel. Bertel expanded the company and opened shops in both Paris and London and represented the line at most world exhibitions from 1846-1917.
