Product description detailed:
Ceramic low bowl in olive green tones with a subtle light blue flame in the center. It comes with a thick glaze.
Scandinavian Mid-Century 1960s, produced by Palshus (Denmark), founded by Per and his wife Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt.
The couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects, often with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps). Colors were characteristic Scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige.
Many other talented ceramic artists also worked for Palshus including Jens H. Quistgaard and Esben Klint.
The plate is signed under the base : Palshus and PLS for Per Linnemann-Schmidt, model C101.
